Shae did a week of British soccer camp and it was one of the hottest weeks of the year. She had an absolute blast. The coaching staff did a great job and were very great with the kids. Coach Louie truly has a heart for children and did an excellent job! They had their own "World Cup." Shae's team was The Netherlands and each day they were asked to do something in association with their team. One day they had to bring in a fact about the country they were representing and one day they had to make a flag and bring in. They also were asked to make a sports drink and design your own label. Shae's actually was pretty good! It was called Galaxy juice and it made the top 6! She also was made Challenger of the day and several other top mentions in some of the games they played. My favorite was when a boy was whining about Shae and the coach told him to stop whining and to start moving faster cause Shae was faster than he was! Proud Parent moment!! (Shae of course doesn't know this) Shannon just over heard the exchange of words! Shae is looking forward to soccer season starting and Annika has decided she wants to play as well. Shannon will be coaching Annika's team and assisting with Shae's team so he will be very busy this season.
