Chicken Pockets

Chicken Pockets

2 Tubes Crescent Rolls
4 C. Chicken, cooked and diced
12oz Cream Cheese
4 T. Milk
4 T. Butter, melted
1 C. Shredded Cheddar Cheese
dash of salt and pepper
sauteed fresh mushrooms- optional
bacon, fried and chopped- optional

soften cream cheese and beat until creamy. Add butter, salt, pepper,and milk. Stir in chicken and cheddar cheese and the mushrooms and bacon if you want them. Roll 2 crescent rolls together to form squares ( makes 8 squares). Place chicken mixture in middle of each crescent roll square. Bring corners together and pinch edges. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes
it sometimes takes an extra tube of crescent rolls depending on how many extra ingredients you use. I cut up boneless skinless chicken breasts and saute them on the stove for this recipe instead of using chicken from a can.
