Field Trip

Is that a monkey?

Annika really is as high up as it looks

Thursday was Annika's field trip to the St. Louis city museum. She asked me to go with and be a chaperone. I decided I better go because before long she isn't going to want mom around, and she asked so nicely I couldn't say no. We had a great time, but I think I lost 5 pounds that day they have all these tunnels and stairs and slides to go everywhere and no elevators! There is a 7 story slide that you Have to go on! Try taking all those stairs and they arn't just straight up and down they are are curving this way and that way. You get the point and outside they have this crazy way up in the air slide and tunnel jungle gym. Needless to say I was glad for the chater bus ride home and not having to drive or think about where I was going. Annika actually told me "I was Cool" and she gave me a big hug at the end of the day and told me That she loved me . Yes, I melted right there on the spot and In my head I was thinling to bad I can't record that or too bad I can't freeze her and keep her this age because I know the teenage years are just around the corner . I don't know about you, but I thought my parents didn't know anything when I was a teenager!
