Well Sunday didn't start out great, Shannon woke up with a migraine. So we both rolled over and went back to sleep until about noon. I had worked 14 hours on Saturday and 10 on Friday so i was due for a little sleep. We got up and had brunch and since Shannon was feeling better we decided it was too nice of a day to stay indoors. We threw some stuff in a backpack and headed to Moms on bikes. Its a nine mile trek one way and the kids did wonderful. Shae started off a little too fast the first couple of miles so the last couple of miles she was tired. Annika on the other hand based on previous experience took her time the first half of the ride and was the first one in grandma's drive. She was rather proud of herself. We had dinner at mom's and the we went for a drive to check on the cows for my brother who now lives on the farm that I grew up on as a kid. I love walking around down there and going down memory lane. My brothers and I have so many good memories from living down there. Iwas showing Annika where my room used to be and showing her the laundry shute we used to slide down when we were kids and the hill we all learned to ride bike on. The property is in a trust so its not for sale otherwise there might be a fight between me and my parents as to who was going to buy it.
