Today was the first day of school and I have to say I was more nervous than they were. Annika started public school today and as a mom I just want to protect my children from everything I possible can. Due to some of Annika's medical issues I don't want her to be embarrassed in front of her classmates and because she went to an ACE school before this the learning style is so different. So there will be a lot of change this year. Annika came home all chatty and excited about how great school was . I wanted to go hug the teacher except she sent home homework for the parents. Thanks Mrs. Thomas!! Shae really didn't want to go to school this morning. She likes to be at home with mom and she likes to sleep in.She walked into class though like it was no big deal didn't even look back to say goodbye. She got the teacher she wanted, her teacher calls her Miss Iowa. Shae would live in her Iowa football jersy and she is very vocal about her Hawkeyes! I am sure I will have many stories to come about the days in school this year

First day of school is more tense for parents than kids. BTW: those are MONGO-HUGE school bags your girls have. But they sure look cool:)

Aw they are so cute! But i agree with Travis. Those bags are bigger than they are. Give them big, wet, sloppy kisses for me!
