Went to a cow farm and came home with a lizard

Sunday we started the day off early and went for breakfast at LePeeps and than we went to Fair Oaks Dairy and a great time. We spent the whole day there and yes, I grew up on a farm so you would think it would have been boring. It was not I got to watch a cow being born for the first time and you will notice I didn't show you any of those graphic photos. My kids saw it as well and I'm sure I will have some explaining to do later. After the birth and the cow was up and walking they separate the mom and the calf It just killed me to know they won't be together again. The mom in me wanted to cry. Shannon said it was scary how fast it all came back to him when he was hooking up the milker on that cow. They have a cheese factory there as well so we sampled some cheese and of course we had to have ice cream as well.Yummy! The kids had a great time and we couldn't have asked for a nicer day. We took our friend Paul with us we have kind of adopted him into our family and I have him to thank for a lot of the pictures you see.

I really like all of the smiles in these pictures. It was a good time. Just that in one of them you were all laughing at me trying to get down low to take the picture. It turned out good though.
