Stranded

Tuesday Annika had a Dr.'s appointment in Peoria. I decided I could go by myself, Shannon couldn't get off work and all my friends have jobs or were busy. So all is going well we go to the dr. appointment. We are leaving town, we get some food on the run and are heading down the interstate and in my head I'm thinking I'm going to make it home in time to pick up Shae and be at work by 4. Wrong!! It was 1p.m. and I had barely been on the interstate 5 minutes and I look down and none of my guages are working and in my head I'm thinking this can't be a good thing and then my car dies . It was not restarting so my husband was taking the rest of the day off whether he could or not . It is now 3:30 and he finally comes to my resecue only to discover that it is the alternator so this is what we did he put the jumper battery on my car and I drove down the road like that until the jumper battery died and then he would recharge the battery pack with his car and then we would drive some more. It was 7:30 when we got home. Can you say Frustrating? If I go to peoria again it will be too soon. I kept wandering what God's purpose for all of that was and I don't know yet and some day I might look back and laugh, but today I'm not. I'm taking Annika to the Dr today lets hope fore a boring drive to and from.
