We went to dinner first at TGI Fridays and that is where the fun started ! They are passing out dinner and one of the servers dropped a bbq sauce off one of our plates and sauce went everywhere, it was on the ceiling it was on our coats, Brent's jersy, moms purse , and all over the lady behind our table . We were all cool with it, accidents happen, but the lady behind us was not! We did get our appetizers for free so that was cool. Poor pat will be doing some bbq sauce removal on the coats. They did offer to have our clothes dry cleaned but we passed. It was amazing how 2ounces of sauce could do that much damage! We went the game and it was packed out. We had a great time! There were several fights and who dosn't enjoy a good fight at a hockey game ? If you have ever been to an illini hockey game you know about the head banger, and the chants "Its all your fault " and "You suck" and I just can't get used to those. It was Annika and Shae's First hockey game and we told them they were Not allowed to say that anywhere else. They did have a good time and are ready to go back. I did have the pleasure of sitting beside a dad of a player from the opposing team and his son got a T and did not play for the rest of the game. He had some colorful words to say about it. During the break between the second and third period we had a little impromtu dancing (Video coming)!! You will notice in the video a man in in orange(security) comes up behind to make sure its not all going to come off. I know and you are saying you took your kids to that? I promise I don't usually expose them to that kind of stuff. The Illini won the game 4-1. We can't wait for next year!!
