Sunday has come around again and Shae was a little more comfortable playing this time.
There were a few more kids playing this weekend and so they mixed the boys and the girls together and things got a little more physical and it wasn't just the boys there were a few girls including Shae. You would have thought they were playing football. A few times there were several jump balls cause Shae wouldn't let go that ball was hers! She pushed a few boys over in her quest to get that ball if fouls would have been called she would have fouled out. She consistently traveled down the court carrying the ball before they finally blew the whistle on her. It didn't seem to phase her she kept right on playing her heart out . We called her a ball hog several times, but the reality is some of those kids are to scared to get involved Shae is not!!
A few dads after the game told us she should be playing football. Shae has been telling us for the last year she wants to play football. Guess we will have to see. Who am I to say girls can't play football?!
