Gone but not Forgotten

Today would have been my brother-in-law Kermits birthday. Not a week goes by that I don't think about him or the family that he left behind. He has four beautiful children that Kim is raising and I don't know how she does it. I know there are times when you just do what have you have to do. Kermit was a great guy he welcomed me into the family no strings attached . I will never forget I was having a crummy day and he walked up to me and gave me hug and told me "It was going to be ok" Family functions arn't the same without him. Birthday's are a big deal in our house and Shae and I were talking about today being Kermits birthday and she said "Maybe Great Grandpa and Grandma Slabaugh are having a party for him?" I wasn't sure how to answer that one, Don't know if they have birthday parties in heaven. If read this today Pray for Kim and the kids Kayla, Kelsie, Karson, and Keegan today that they would be blessed and know that they are loved.
