Well Annika's birthday didn't start out so well she had to be at the hospital at 8 a.m., which meant we had to leave at 6a.m. She was well pampered once we got there by the nurses who even brought her a cake that morning. It didn't change the fun of the tests, she cried , we all cried that day she was very brave and did well. We got back into town that night around seven so we met my parents for some mexican ( Annika's Choice) Then that weekend She had a few girls over to spend the night and we went black light mini golfing. She again choose Mexican food! Yummy! We planned a birthday party with my family and then she got the flu and was sick for almost a week. We finally were able to have it this weekend. Can I just say she made out like a bandit with gifts. She also managed to have three cakes since the parties were so strung out. She kept saying "I'm in the double digits mom" Its scary how fast they grow up. You will notice that I am missing birthday number 6 its because when my computer crashed I lost a few pictures. I guess you will have to use your imagination for that one. Annika has been asked out several times in school this year and we keep telling her she can't date until shes 18. We did ask her where 10 year-old go on their dates. She just says "MOM". I really do feel sorry for any guy who shows up on our door to date our daughters. Shannon says there will be no guns just "a nice little country drive!" Yikes!
